Hounds of Love

I’m back and we’re just all going to pretend I haven’t been MIA  for months! Today I’m writing about Ben Young’s Hounds of Love (2017) and whew! (!!!) That’s really the best way to describe this film, which features the story of teen girl kidnapped by a demented couple in 1980’s Australia. Ashleigh Cummings plays our girl Vicki, the kidnapping victim, who has to use her wits to escape this year’s most fucked up cinematic couple, played by Emma Booth and Stephen Curry. The plot was intense and stressful and made me want to die but not before I figured out if she survived or not.

Is it fun?

Does it sound fun? No! And it wasn’t! But it was good. If you like crime movies and pulling your hair out until you look like a Cynthia doll, then this is for you!

P.S. I did like this movie.
